Leigh's designer wedding dress collection and bridal gowns can be found in wedding boutiques and bridal shops around the country, from London, Northern Ireland, Staffordshire, Surrey, Berkshire and as faraway as the Lebanon.

Leigh is renowned nationally and internationally for her beautifully cut, contemporary yet classic bridal gowns and designer wedding dresses which are all designed and manufactured in the UK by Leigh and her very talented team of pattern cutters, seamstresses and hand embellishers.

Only the finest fabrics, laces and embellishments are used throughout the collection. The collections are reminiscent of the 1930's and 1950's with a modern twist.

The collection is comprised of many styles and shapes. There is something for everyone. We also offer a complete bespoke service from our Newcastle boutique.

The boutique is set in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne within a Georgian style building. With its high ceilings, chandelier lighting and its relaxed atmosphere this is a must for any bride to visit.

It houses the full collection of designer wedding dresses by national and internationally renowned designer Leigh Hetherington. All of the Leigh Hetherington dresses are designed and handmade in Newcastle upon Tyne using only the finest fabrics and laces.

At our Newcastle boutique we also offer a complete bespoke service where the bride can have a consultation with Leigh and have a wedding dress designed and handmade especially for her (terms and conditions apply for this service).

Our friendly and knowledgeable assistants are always available to advise and help brides choose their perfect dress. Our spacious and private fitting room allows the bride to feel relaxed whilst trying on wedding dresses.

We also have a selection of exquisite dresses from La Sposa and Beverly Lister. To compliment our dresses we have a beautiful collection of handmade headpieces and veils by some of the most prestigious designers in the UK.

Leigh Hetherington has been designing and creating wedding dresses since graduating with a degree in Fashion design in 1998 from the prestigious Northumbria University at Newcastle upon Tyne. Her love of fashion and especially that of Haute Couture led her to pursue her dream of creating exquisite and beautifully cut designer wedding dresses using only the finest fabrics, laces and embellishment. She prides herself on the fact that all of her wedding dresses are designed and created in the UK enabling her to have full control over quality and workmanship. Leigh works very closely with her highly skilled team of pattern cutters, seamstresses and hand embellishers to create her classical yet contemporary wedding dresses.

She is renowned for her attention to detail, subtle yet effective and her inner corsetry which gives a very structured feel to the dresses enabling the wearer to feel fabulous and giving them a very smooth silhouette on their wedding day.

'Haute Couture is fashion at its highest standard, the attention to the cut, fit and detail of a garment is always beautifully executed. I wanted to bring all of these aspects to my wedding dresses. After all a wedding dress should be of Heirloom quality and admired for many generations'.
